Does the nebulizer set need cleaning?

Do the masks and nebulizer mouthpiece contain latex?
The masks and mouthpiece of the nebulizer are made of PVC and do not contain latex.
How do I change the nebulizer air filter?
All OMRON nebulizers, except the MicroAir model U-22), are equipped with an air filter which is usually located under the small blue cap on the front of the nebulizer. Air filters must be changed on a regular basis to ensure proper operation of the nebulizer. After using the nebulizer, there is moisture left in the air tube. How do I remove it? Follow the procedure below: 1. make sure the air tube is still connected to the nebulizer 2. disconnect the air tube from the nebulizer set 3. turn on the nebulizer to blow air through the tube and dry it
Can the MicroAir U-22 nebulizer be used for therapy that requires continuous or intermittent flow?
The MicroAir U-22 nebulizer is designed for both situations. Follow your doctor's instructions for the recommended treatment.
How is a flowmeter used?
Place the appropriate mouthpiece size on the flowmeter. Move the meter to the bottom (to zero). Take a deep breath, put your mouth to the mouthpiece and exhale as hard and fast as you can. You don't need to exhale all the air from your lungs. The final position of the pointer captures your maximum expiratory flow
